The footpath along the banks of the Ribeiro do Alvito runs from the Tower to the Termas de Caldelas park, for a length of approximately 800 meters.

This route, with its breathtaking paradisiacal beauty that appeals to all five senses, is made up of a pedestrian path with gentle slopes alongside the crystal-clear waters of the River Alvito; it also includes a leisure park for intergenerational socializing, equipped with various facilities that invite you to practice nature tourism, thus boosting the thermalism that is so characteristic of this land. Along this walking route you can see eight water-powered mills, dozens of years old, which have been completely restored. These mills, of unparalleled beauty, reflect the hard work of the families of Caldelas in grinding corn.

The Alvito stream also runs through Casas Zé Manel and guests can visit the stream and have a picnic in the area.
